Casino software with a one-time licence and no GGR share in 2026: who sells it and 11 providers compared

By Turnkey Guide Desk. Updated: 26 October 2026.

Short answer: Most B2B casino providers sell access to their platform for a setup fee plus a share of revenue. Buying the software once and paying no share on it is less common. Of 11 providers we checked in October 2026, Gambling Soft publishes one-time prices: ready casinos with source code from $8,500 and the platform source code for $19,000, with no GGR share on the software. GammaStack's FAQ mentions a low or no GGR share model, with the price on request. The other nine did not state their share on the pages we checked. Games are paid separately in every case.

What "one-time licence, no GGR" means in practice

The phrase covers the platform: the casino front end, the back office, the player wallet, bonuses and reports. You pay for it once and the seller takes no percentage of what your players lose. Three costs stay with you in any model:

So the useful comparison is not "zero versus a percentage" but "one-time price plus running costs" against "setup fee plus platform share for the life of the brand".

When a one-time licence pays back

The table below is an illustration, not any provider's rate. It assumes a platform share of 10% of GGR on the revenue share side and a one-time price of $19,000 on the other. Put in the real numbers from your own offers.

Monthly GGRPlatform share at a hypothetical 10%Months for $19,000 to pay back
$10,000$1,000 a monthAbout 19
$25,000$2,500 a monthAbout 8
$50,000$5,000 a monthAbout 4
$100,000$10,000 a monthAbout 2

Two things change the picture. A minimum monthly fee in a revenue share contract makes the one-time licence pay back faster at low revenue. Hosting and support you pay yourself make it pay back slower. Add both before deciding.

"Not stated" means we did not find revenue share terms on the provider's own pages listed in the last column. It does not mean the provider has no one-time option; ask it directly. Providers are ordered by how clearly they publish their revenue share terms: published one-time prices first, then a stated low or no share model, then offers with published launch times.

Questions before you pay once

The last question matters most. A "one-time licence" with a monthly fee per active player or a share of turnover is a revenue share under another name. For the wider choice of models, see white label vs turnkey vs source code, and for fees in white label contracts, white label monthly fees and revenue share.

How we compared

We took every fact from the provider's own website and noted the page and the date we checked it. We did not use price ranges from third-party reviews. Where a provider does not publish a price or a revenue share, we write so and link the page we checked. The payback table is our own arithmetic on a hypothetical rate and is marked as such. FAQ

Can I buy casino software without paying a share of GGR?
Yes, for the platform itself. Of the 11 providers we checked in October 2026, Gambling Soft publishes a one-time licence with no GGR share on the software: ready casinos with source code from $8,500 to $47,500 and the platform source code for $19,000. GammaStack's FAQ mentions a low or no GGR revenue share model without a published price. The others did not state their share on the pages we checked.
Do I still pay anything after a one-time licence?
Yes. Game studios and aggregators charge their own share of GGR whatever platform you use, and you pay for hosting, payment fees and any support or development you order. The one-time licence removes the platform share, not the game costs.
When does a one-time licence pay back compared with revenue share?
Divide the one-time price by the monthly platform share you would otherwise pay. For example, at a hypothetical 10% platform share on $50,000 GGR a month you pay $5,000 a month, so a $19,000 licence pays back in about four months. At low revenue it takes much longer.
What is the difference between a one-time licence and source code?
A one-time licence is the payment model, source code is what you receive. Some sellers give a perpetual licence to run their software on their servers without the code. Ask whether you get the code, can host it yourself and can change it.
Who should not buy a one-time licence?
Someone testing a market for a few months with no licence and no developers. White label under a provider's licence is usually a cheaper test, and you can move to your own software later.
